Kelly Reilly stars in Above Suspicion 2 - Jan 2010

Kelly Reilly returns in the lead role of DC Anna Travis in Above Suspicion 2 - The Red Dahlia, ITV1's three part crime drama written by Lynda La Plante. The first episode achieved higher ratings than the return of BBC's popular drama series Hustle, pulling in 6.74m viewers. Kelly also played DC Travis in the original series of Above Suspicion, which aired on ITV in January 2009 and is now available to buy on DVD.

Kelly Reilly in Sherlock Holmes - Dec 2009

British actress Kelly Reilly stars as Mary Morstan in Sherlock Holmes. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the big budget 2009 film stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson and Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler. Sherlock Holmes premiered on 14 December in London.

Kelly Reilly stars in Triage - 2009

Kelly Reilly stars as Diane in Triage, a major film starring Colin Farrell in the lead role. Sir Christopher Lee also appears in a role that required him to learn more lines than in any other film in his career to date. Triage is based on the novel of the same name by US war correspondent Scott Anderson. The film premiered in Spain at the Seville European Film Festival and also shortly afterwards in the US during November 2009.

Kelly Reilly stars in Me and Orson Welles - 2008

Kelly Reilly plays Muriel Brassler (Portia) in Me and Orson Welles, the feature film starring Zac Efron in the lead role of Richard Samuels. Kelly's character is the leading lady in a broadway production of Julius Caesar. The play is directed by Orson Welles (Christian McKay), with whom Brassler is also having an affair. The film was released in the UK on 4 December 2009.

Kelly Reilly stars in Eden Lake - 2008

Kelly Reilly stars in horror film Eden Lake as Jenny, a nursery teacher who escapes with her boyfriend (played by Michael Fassbender) to a remote lake for a romantic weekend. Suffice to say that their plans are disrupted. Eden Lake was released on 12 September 2008 and is now available to buy on DVD. Kelly's peformance won her a nomination for best actress in the 2008 British Independent Film Awards. The film won Best Horror at the 2009 Empire Awards.

Kelly Reilly stars in He Kills Coppers - 2008

Kelly Reilly stars with Rafe Spall in the television crime drama He Kills Coppers, based on the novel by Jake Arnott. Arnott's sequel to The Long Firm, He Kills Coppers follows men connected to the murder of three Metropolitan police officers during 1966's football World Cup celebrations. When interviewed by ITV, Arnott commented "the emotional chemistry between Rafe and Kelly is really believable. You can’t write that stuff because it’s visual and it’s physical." The drama first aired on ITV in March 2008 and has since been released to buy on DVD.

Kelly Reilly stars in Joe's Palace - 2007

Kelly Reilly stars alongside Rupert Penry-Jones (Spooks), Michael Gambon and Danny Lee Wynter in Joe's Palace, a television drama from BBC Films. Written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff, Joe's Palace centres on the relationship between teenage Joe and a reclusive billionaire, with Joe's perspective on life changing as he witnesses events including a love affair between Charlotte (Kelly) and a high flying politican (Penry-Jones). The film was released on DVD in November 2007.

Kelly Reilly stars in Puffball - 2007

Kelly Reilly stars in the lead role as Liffey in Puffball, a tale with a supernatural theme based on the novel by Fay Weldon. Directed by Nicolas Roeg, the film also stars Miranda Richardson, Rita Tushingham and Donald Sutherland. Set in Ireland, the film tells the chilling story of a young architect (Kelly) who falls unexpectedly pregnant whilst renovating a ruined building. Puffball was released on DVD in the UK in March 2009.

Kelly Reilly stars in "Look Back in Anger" - 15 Jan - 19 Feb 2005

Kelly Reilly starred in John Osborne's play at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh until 12 February, before transferring to the Theatre Royal, Bath from 14 - 19 February.

Four New Films in 2004

Kelly had a very busy year in 2004, clocking up roles in four new films:

Mrs Henderson Presents - starring alongside Dame Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins, Kelly Reilly plays Maureen, a bottle-blonde showgirl, in the tale of the woman who founded the nude revue Windmill Theatre in Soho, London.  Pop Idol's Will Young also stars in his film debut as the Bertie, the Windmill's star performer. The film premiered in 2005 and was nominated for an Academy Award.

Les Poupées Russes (The Russian Dolls) - in this romantic film by avant-garde French director Cédric Klapisch, Kelly Reilly stars alongside Audrey Tautou (Amélie). Kelly's performance in Les Poupées Russes won her the Best Newcomer Award at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. Kelly also received a César Award nomination for best actress in a supporting role, but was pipped to the title by co-star Cécile De France.

The Libertine - a cameo role as a 17th-century prostitute starring opposite - and kissing! - Johnny Depp.  Also stars John Malkovich, Samantha Morton and Johnny Vegas.

Pride and Prejudice - cameo role as Caroline Bingley.  Also stars Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen.
